Do I need to amend my taxes?

Last year I filed my taxes with our "normal" jobs but I was not expecting a 1099 for a job I did (for a company) over the summer for 2 days. It shows on the 1099 the $700 I made under "non-employee compensation" and no federal tax withheld. Do I need to amend our taxes for last year? I know in the past I heard you don't have to claim under so much but I don't remember what that amount was.
