What do you feed a hatchling corn snake?

When i first got my corn snake, he didnt want to eat either, but i kept dangling the pinky mouse in front of him. it took a pretty long while but soon enough he latched on to it and eventually ate! if the mouse is too big, im sorry to say this but, try cutting it! =/
