Why do people fly the Confederate flag?

Why would you defend a flag that represented the separation of the U.S?We are the UNITED States now,they were more like the Divided States during the civil war.In addition,you have to take into SERIOUS consideration the pain black Americans feel when they see that flag.We don't like it when illegal aliens fly their flags over the U.S. flag, then why do you have the right to flaunt yours in the face of Afro-Americans?I'd rather fly my American flag.Then they say it's,"Heritage not hate".Your heritage and mines is from Europe,not the South.You people must not see the faces of blacks when you fly that ridiculous flag: I see pain and confusion more often then anger.Why would you fly a Saudi Arabian flag in an American neighborhood after 9/11? Why would you fly a Nazi flag in a Jewish neighborhood knowing how the holocaust hurts them?That's just silly like flying a confederate flag today.Are you people just that insenstive?The Confederate flag represents division so why fly it?
