What should I write in a thank you card for a substantial monetary birthday gift?

My great aunt gave me a very fat cheque for my birthday (to, in her words, set me up for future/career)and I want to send a long thank you card. However I'm stumped at how best to express my gratitude, I'm still a bit speechless. Any suggestions for pages?
