Christians, why are you so blessed?

If God has blessed you with things in life like a wonderful spouse, healthy children, a good job, nice neighbors, and a safe neighborhood, etc, why has He forsaken the millions of starving, diseased, and abused children who die each year and ignored the prayers of their parents?
