Im on omperazole 20mg aday.Is there anything else i can take with this to relieve heartburn and indigestion?

I was prescribed this after contracting food poisoning. You are advised not to take other gastro intestinal meds. at the same time but I always drink milk when I get heartburn anyway-never fails for me.
