Why won't my boyfriend ever call me?

I've been dating this guy for about 3 months now. HE'S SO BAD AT CALLING ME. I always call him , initiate the plans, whatever. He never calls me! So one day I stopped calling him, didn't text him back, this went on for a couple of days. He then texted me like, "I get it, it's over, thanks for letting me know." What the hell is wrong with him? HE NEEDS TO CALL ME TOO. That saying, it takes two to tango.... right?
