Alloy gold-silver nano-particles.....?

My coworker made silver nanopyramids, nanrods, and nanospheres, and her absorption maxima could vary 100+ nm based on size, shape, and aspect ratio of the nanoparticle. Also, the width of an absorption curve relates to the size distribution of the synthesized nanoparticles.
