Why do Indians in other countries always like to form a group by themselves?

Indians have a caste system and non-Indians are considered lower than the lowest caste in India. Also, people tend to stick with other people who share the same culture, language and religion. I have noticed that the majority of Indian students living in Australia do stick to their own cultural group. I have also noticed that Indians living here permanently do imilate into our society.
